As the Division Manager for Arizona Public Service Company, I am committed to maintaining a strong rapport with the business community. I can think of no better way to do so than through involvement with the Greater Yuma Economic Development Corporation (Greater Yuma EDC).
After working in different areas throughout the State of Arizona, I came back to my hometown to find it vastly changed from the small agricultural community I grew up in. The City of Yuma and its nearby communities have become a thriving metropolitan statistical area– yet the people remain as caring, down-to-earth, and family-oriented as I remember.
Opportunity abounds in Yuma County. The area's low taxes, utility rates, available work force and friendly regulatory environment make it a great place for business. As Chairman, I have the pleasure of working with a high-profile and dynamic Board of Directors. Indeed, we are fortunate to partner with the executives of our communities' key industries and largest employers.
At Greater Yuma EDC, we are here for you. Please feel free to call the office and ask about doing business in Yuma. Chris Camacho and his staff will be happy to put you in touch with one of us to help you decide to visit Yuma.
We look forward to impressing you.
Sincerely,
Jim Valenzuela, Division Manager Arizona Public Service Company
