Yuma International Airport saw a strong rebound in passenger traffic during the last quarter of 2024, with enplanements increasing by 15% and deplanements rising by 14% compared to the same period in 2023. This growth marks a significant recovery from the downturn experienced in 2023, when enplanements declined by 6.8% and deplanements by 1.0% in the second quarter compared to 2022. In addition to passenger growth in 2024, YIA managed 205 tons of cargo during the second quarter, reflecting a 10% increase from the previous year, this highlights the airport’s role as a key hub for regional transportation and commerce.
